Imagine enjoying a delicious dinner while trying to solve a murder mystery in a beautiful mansion\, using historic figures from Baraboo’s past.  Well\, look no further than our exciting hands-on dinner theater!  Who did it\, where’d they do it\, how did they do it?  These questions will answered\, and historical facts will be revealed\, with our latest Mystery Dinner Event: an original and historic Murder Mystery Dinner Event written by Baraboo’s own Ben Bromley. \n  \nWhat:  A Ringling Murder Mystery Dinner \nWhen:   Saturday\,  January 17\, 2026 at 5 pm. \nWhere:  Ringling House Bed & Breakfast\, 201 8th St.\, Baraboo\, WI  53913 \nCost:  $59.00\, includes 1 free drink\, dinner\, and a whole lot of fun with murder! \n  \nAbout the The Ringling Murder Mystery: \n\n\n\n\nIt’s 1910\, one hour before the start of circus season party at the home of Charles Ringling\, a celebration for the owners and performers of the Ringling Brothers Circus 1910 season.  A murder has taken place at the residence\, just as guests are arriving to the party.  Crutches the Clown\, longtime Ringling performer and half the comic duo of “Crutches and Chuckles” has been found dead\, strangled with a violin string\, in the homes historic elevator. \nAs the circus owners and their staff assemble for the evenings gathering\, a Criminologist arrives to launch an investigation. \n  \nPLEASE NOTE:   All tickets must be purchased by Saturday\,  January 10 \, 2026\, by midnight to allow time for part distribution.  In addition\, due to the complexity of arranging these events\, there will be NO REFUNDS if your cancellation is made within 10 days of the event.   However\, if there is availability\, your ticket can be transferred to another murder mystery date. \n\n\n\n\nApproximate Schedule of the evening: \n5:00 – 5:30 – Mix & Mingle \n5:30 – Round 1\, part A – Introductions \n5:45 – Round 1\, part B – Rumors \n6:15 Dinner is served in the Dining Room \n6:30 Round 2 in Dining Room – Motives \n7:00 Round 3 in Parlor – Opportunity \n7:30 Round 4 in Parlor – Method \n8:00 Voting & Final Statements \nWhat to expect at our murder mystery dinners: \nAs a participant\, you’ll receive a role to play\, materials to help you solve the mystery\, and of course\, dinner and one drink ticket.
